School Exchange

Antonio Hernández Arnal (tutor 5th year of Primary Education) / Actual Edu

In order to be prepared for professional life, an exchange programme is a unique opportunity for students. This programme gives them the chance to compare and share views with students of different races and cultures as well as practising the language. At Agora Portals we believe that exchanges between students are an essential and complete learning method which contributes to an excellent human and academic development.

In order to be prepared for professional life, an exchange programme is a unique opportunity for students. This programme gives them the chance to compare and share views with students of different races and cultures as well as practising the language

An exchange is in itself a host of new experiences, and involves a dual exchange, academic and cultural. The fact of living temporarily in another country enriches the person involved in a new culture. Consequently, the experience belongs to a type of learning that goes beyond the academic aspect, related to the customs and daily life of a country almost entirely unknown.

A student exchange also helps to see how life is in other parts of the world. In today’s globalized society, to have this kind of experience is very useful for a future career.

The exchange student can eventually participate in extracurricular activities in different new branches of sport. Exchange programmes are of vital importance for the development of skills and abilities and for the acquisition of new knowledge.

Every student that visits another country always returns to their own country with a new mentality regarding ideas and research that take place all over the world.

The advantages of a student exchange are many. The most important are those related to personal development. Students share experiences with peers from another culture and another language. It is a phenomenal opportunity to make one become more independent and more responsible. Not to mention learning a language in such a natural way, talking to native speakers during their whole stay.

This helps our students strengthen their vocabulary and enables them to become familiar with the real accent of the language they are learning, just as it is spoken by its inhabitants, including all sorts of local expressions and peculiarities.
