"Graduation Infants Education pupils EI5" and "I'm a teacher!"

GRADUATION INFANTS EDUCATION PUPILS EI5

The students finished classes a few days ago. No more homework, tests, presentations, schedules, obligations... This moment is one of the most eagerly awaited for by all students: the arrival of the holidays!

However, there was a group of students who experienced this moment in a different way: the boys and girls aged 5 leave behind an important time in their lives, Infants Education. Up to now they have felt welcomed, protected and loved, and they now face an unknown period of their lives, full of expectations yet with many unknown factors (who will be the new teachers and what will they be like, what are we going to study, how will I look in the new uniform...). Thinking about the future always brings back memories of the past that make you feel stronger.

During the last days of the school year, there were a lot of nerves, everything had to be perfect, graduation day was coming. The students (EI5) had been preparing for their big day for a long time and they were very excited to show their families how much they had grown up.

And ... the day finally arrived! All the children looked gorgeous and were radiant. Their happiness was noticeable on their faces and those of their families. Everything went perfectly and each of the children who graduated did their very best (in the performances, listening to various speeches, collecting their diplomas ...) and this was reflected in the expressions of their families (touched, some speechless, hugging everyone ...).

Everything went smoothly, especially thanks to the participation and collaboration of everybody (parents, students, teachers, technical staff, management ...).

So I would like to end these lines by congratulating each and every one of those who made this event so important for the real stars of the afternoon: the children.

End of year poetry for the E15 pupils

Today I want to tell you
A story with an end,
It happens each year
Do you want to hear it?
Two years ago
children and parents
a little bit scared
arrived at this place.

Since that distant day
we have been sharing
side by side in silence
letters, numbers and many dreams.

Summer has arrived
And the school year is over
We celebrate together
That we have graduated.

No more going to Infants
Now we will go to Primary.
We leave behind this cycle
Where we learned and had fun.
We have grown up so much
that it is now time to say
goodbye to you all
and to let us fly away.

The graduation of our students

There was once a beautiful story, with many important characters...

In September 2008 we started together a new stage in our lives: a new school, a new year, new friends, new teachers, new languages ... Everything was new when we started.

There were nerves, doubts and fears. It was an unexplored world that we would discover all together: children, families and... also the teachers.
But day by day we got to know each other and we overcame the challenges and obstacles that hindered our journey. A path that we built together and of which we are very proud to have taken part with our small contribution.

When the first year was over, we started a new year, with almost the same pupils and the same teachers. During this course the challenge continued of preparing these students for the change to Primary School as well as making sure that the children were happy, they made friends, had fun and were happy to come to school. We have worked hard and learned new things, like how to read and to immerse ourselves in the wonderful world of books, to add and subtract, to write our thoughts, feelings or anything that occurs to us ... We have had a great time learning a language which is very different from ours, Chinese, we have learned a lot about music, about different artists ... And a thousand other things which we could also name.

But, well, from our entirely subjective and humble point of view, we believe we have succeeded. We are extremely proud to have been part of the lives of our students during this time. We see that they have grown up while still being children at the same time ... we have a contradictory feeling: we feel sorry for letting them go to fly alone in Primary school yet we are very happy to see that they will be capable, they are ready. They will be able to begin the next stage with enthusiasm and eagerness and we are sure that they will overcome everything successfully.

This beautiful story has a nice end... The 54 stars of this story have grown up and graduated with great enthusiasm.

Travelling through space from Jupiter and Mars to reach the Earth to visit China and Spain, the crew of the ship makes its final stop at the station of Primary School and says goodbye to this wonderful journey with a FAREWELL FOR NOW!

I'M A TEACHER!

When people find out that I'm a teacher, they generally ask me: What do you teach?

When I say that I am an Infants Education tutor they usually respond with ... an “Aaah!” which is so disinterested that I want to say:

Where else can you be hugged every day by handsome young people who tell you that they love you?
Where else can you see a world of full of enthusiasm, tastes and opinions every day?
Where else can you hear that you're gorgeous every day?
Where else can you guide a hand in the writing of the first letters which might someday write a book or an important document?
Where else can you forget your troubles because of the many scratches, banged heads and wounded hearts that you have to look after?
Where else can you keep yourself young at heart then in the middle of a group that constantly needs you to be full of surprises to keep their fleeting attention?
Where else would you shed tears because you have to finish a year of happy relationships?

WORKING WITH SMALL CHILDREN MAKES ME GROW AS A PERSON!
